These communities are located in southern Ontario near Milton and Burlington, part of a metropolitan area with a population that keeps increasing in size. Each of the rural communities has something special to offer residents. Campbellville is home to the Mohawk Raceway, Crawford Lake Indian Village, Mountsberg Conservation Area, plenty of antique stores, other unique stores featuring Mennonite furniture, home decor from around the world, gift shops. Campbellville is also home to The Stonehouse of Campbellville a large stained glass store and museum as well as a history and genealogy bookstore. The scenery is beautiful, and the rolling hills and roads make it a perfect spot for bikers.

Carlisle features the Bates & Green gas station, where some scenes from the Canadian comedy series The Red Green Show were filmed. Several other spots in Carlisle, like the Carlisle General Store and the Carlisle Public Arena have been used for major motion pictures and films. The Carlisle Golf Club is a 27-hole public golf course which is part of a larger chain of gold courses around the area, where residents are guaranteed to have fun and relax. The Courtcliffe Park has trails for cyclists, soccer fields for kids, and paths to walk through nature. Carlisle is also the home of the Dutchmans Gold Honey Company, a thriving industry and town attraction. These communities also share the many parks, recreational facilities and attractions that Milton and Burlington are so beloved for.
